COTB TX V2

COTB TX V2 is a proven High Altitude Balloon (HAB) stratospheric payload, with several successful flights and retrievals. Capable of reaching over 100,000 ft altitude while measuring internal and external temperature, atmospheric pressure, humidity, battery voltage, and altitude. The onboard GPS receiver and LoRa radio combine to provide tracker functionality with a theoretical range of hundreds of kilometers, supplemented by a backup Real Time Clock.
Developed from a simple box of wires to a sophisticated four-layer PCB, COTB TX V2 is the culmination of years of research, testing, and iterative development. This robust payload is designed to push the boundaries of high-altitude exploration.
COTB RX V1

COTB RX V1 is a versatile receiver capable of tracking two HAB payloads' telemetry simultaneously and a media channel that receives a 640x480 image every few minutes from the COTB TX V2 payload. An onboard servo motor adjusts its perspective, allowing it to capture images pointed toward Earth, at the horizon, and up at the balloon.
The COTB RX V1 software is written in Python and can be utilized on a Raspberry Pi with a custom HAT, which is currently under development. This makes the RX V1 a powerful tool for capturing and analyzing data during high-altitude balloon missions.
